Jacob began his voiceover career at nineteen recording digital books with the Commission for the Blind. As a professional voice actor, he has worked with companies like Cisco, NBC, Navteq & Kenmore. At the request of a voiceover client, Jacob made his on-camera debut for the pilot, After Dark with Joe Piscopo in 2008. He's gone on to work with Ron Howard and recently finished a 4-part Civil War documentary for the Discovery Channel. Jacob has trained with legendary casting director, Jane Alderman and studied the methods of Uta Hagen. Jacob is also the founder of NoStigmas, a grassroots movement to raise awareness and erase the stigmas of suicide and mental illness by sharing stories of hope and inspiration. Jacob Moore has been an entertainment professional for over a decade. During that time, highlights include a principle role for Discovery Channel's Civil War 3D series, an appearance in the ‘Powers’ pilot for FX and work with Ron Howard. Additional credits include the pilot ‘After Dark’ with Joe Piscopo and voiceover work for NBC, Kenmore, Cisco, among dozens of others. An accomplished acro-gymnast with experience in stunt work, Jacob has trained with legendary casting director, Jane Alderman and voiceover guru Marice Tobias. Jacob is also the founder of NoStigmas, a non-profit project to raise awareness of suicide and mental health.
